Okay, first time experience here.
At least, the first time in a very long time. I wonder if any of you have had the same experience?
Even though I’ve been single for some time, I never really felt alone, or lonely. I always had a certain friend, let’s call him X, that filled that gap for me. Maybe a little too much.
Anyway, tonight for the first time, I felt completely alone. It was a very hard feeling to swallow.
The worst part is that the moment I felt this, it seemed as if no one else in the world was solo except for me.
Couples are everywhere, advertisements for gifts for romantic holidays are everywhere, get-away vacations for two are always more enticing than purchasing a single ticket.
But I’m trying to have faith. Ever since I started my bucket list, I’m realizing that women don’t need a relationship to define our worth, or our sense of self.
There are many good things about being alone:
- You never have to share you food.
- Your side of the bed, is the entire bed.
- You can eat whatever you want; whenever you want. My faves are scrumptious salads and tacos.
- The fun director in the relationships is you! Now what am I going to do today?
- You learn to become more and more sufficient and confident in your own abilities.
What are some fun things that some of you enjoy doing alone? For those of you that aren’t single, is there anything that you wish you could do alone?
Love,

I like to go to the movies alone, I enjoy Die Hard movies and ones like that and I don’t have friends that enjoy them and my son is to young to go. So that is my guilty pleasure.
