Tramp al la stamp? or sophisticated body art? What is a tattoo? I’ve always been intrigued by the better tattoos and repulsed by some of the attempts gone wrong.
Then there’s the worry that the cute little pony tattoo of today may transform into a devilish horse monster if I ever put weight back on. I suppose I’m also worried that what seems to be a good idea today will look stupid when I’m in a nursing home in fifty years time. Then again, I won’t be the only old dame with a pony tattoo in the home—maybe there’ll be safety in numbers?
Too and fro, too and fro, why is this decision so hard? And just when I go off the idea, Zara turns up and she wears her tattoos with pride and aplomb. That’s it – I’m getting a tattoo—and I’ll show the world that I can wear body art with pride too!
But what if it all goes wrong? hmm.
